When we grow up, part of our parents’ knowledge is transferred to our way of seeing life. Twenty years ago, life insurance was something most people couldn’t afford, almost a luxury.
There are many misconceptions about consumer perceptions of life insurance. For example, do consumers think life insurance is irrelevant? How do they want to buy life insurance?
Is life insurance only for the rich?
A life insurance policy is an investment that provides financial security for you and your family in the face of any uncertainty. It is an insurance that covers the economic needs of those who depend on you in case you have an accident. It is also one of the basic financial tools that everyone should have.
Society has developed, life expectancy has increased, new events have emerged (many derived from new technologies) and we are faced with a situation in which economic responsibility applies to all social classes. a
Grandparents used to say that independence has turned into financial independence. Finding a job, buying a house, buying products and services, planning a house – all these goals are evaluated through the prism of the economy.
With the same prism, we must consider the need for life and accident insurance. How much should the stability of a house be worth for a company where the purchase of a mobile terminal for 1000 euros is considered a “necessity”?
While it may be necessary for some to have a terminal capable of performing the required tasks, no brand has the ability to be the only one to perform those tasks.
Maybe it would be easier if we gave an example. Imagine you want a new phone and need to take photos, process emails, read and write documents, scan, digitally sign, make payments, and of course make phone calls.
With these demands, there are many brands in the market that can offer you smartphones. The price can range between 400 and 1300 euros, with the same features, just by changing brands.
If the brand was that important, I wouldn’t buy something as important as life insurance for the price. It will be the constancy. If the brand is not important, you will have to take out life insurance. This is also consistency.
